Hello

If you have visited recently you will have encountered various versions of pages that tell you something is not working properly :(

Yes indeed – a recent server-side migration has resulted in the database of ‘mina’s wild world’ falling into the infinite and inaccessible depths of the internet.

So we are now very busy rebuilding my blog on a new installation of wordpress, with a new database that is currently empty.

Some things can be repopulated, such as my image bank and my theme settings etc – but the all important post contents and comments are, very sadly, gone forever.

I will be creating an archive area of this second-phase blog where I will be doing my best to recreate the posts I made based on the images that I have in my media library – the images will prompt my memory of each post and although the words won’t be exactly the same – the gist will be recoverable.

If anyone remembers comments they made to any of these posts then please – reinstate the gist of those too!

While the archive area gets built I can still carry on here now – and as soon as all my settings and layout are reinstated – a brand new post about something far more exciting than database rebuilding will appear.
